The date of February 14 in the post-Soviet countries was unofficially established as a professional holiday for computer scientists. The word "computer" is associated with quite broad ideas. Now it's not just developers and analysts of computer systems, programmers and operators of various computer devices. These include engineers in automated control systems, database maintenance engineers, server administrators and many others, whose professional responsibilities are related to advanced knowledge of computer technology and the ability to solve various problems, where it is simply impossible to do without its use.
Every day, even in everyday life, we use objects that have emerged as a result of creative search and hard work of programming specialists. They have created many things in the modern world, which are simply indispensable: from a remote control, say, to a TV, and ending with industrial machines with software control. And the origins of such an interesting profession as a programmer come from the computer systems department of our college.
On the occasion of the Computer Day, the head of the department of computer systems Denisyuk VV and teacher Tsyaputa NO The intellectual game "Computer Marathon" was held among third-year students. During the game, students analyzed and systematized information, improving skills of independent work. They learned to work in a team, showed activity and collectivism in making joint decisions. Participants gladly competed in various competitions, demonstrating ingenuity, ingenuity, creativity. As a result, friendship won. After all, programmers are a big friendly family of IT.
