Traditionally, the third Thursday of May in Ukraine celebrates the Day of Embroidery. On this May day, towns and villages are full not only of a variety of flowers and herbs, but also full of various ornaments of embroideries. Our college was also filled with bright colors of embroideries.
The holiday does not include mandatory activities, except for wearing an embroidered shirt. But the college approached the celebration of this holiday on a large scale. Students, teachers, employees of the college under the leadership of Mushkevych LV and Orlovskaya AO a theatrical holiday-play "Vyshivanka – our future, our amulet" was held. The embroidered shirt has long been considered a talisman against all the evil that can happen in human life, is a symbol of beauty and good health, happy destiny. So join the action – wear an embroidered shirt and remember the cultural traditions of your own people!
