Bullying – actions of participants in the educational process, which consist in psychological, physical, economic, sexual violence, including the use of electronic means of communication committed against a minor or such a person against other participants in the educational process , as a result of which the mental or physical health of the victim could or has been harmed.

8 out of 10 children in Ukraine face bullying. Such data were published by the Ukrainian Institute for the Study of Extremism. Phenomena such as peer bullying is spreading around the world as violent behavior is becoming increasingly popular. What can ignoring bullying lead to, how can it be prevented, and why can't the police always help? Why is this happening in our society? After all, if the phenomenon of bullying, which in adults later grows into mobbing, is so common, it is worth talking about certain problems of society. What exactly could have caused the situation?

These are the questions and many others we tried to answer in an educational lesson on the topic "Say -" NO! " bullying ", dedicated to this acute problem of modernity, which was held on March 21, 2019 for students of group 15 in the Central City Library. We thank the Acting the head of the notary office of Uman city state notary office Kravets Halyna Vasylivna, who was invited to the event, for interesting material, for meaningful discussion and library staff for help in organizing the event.

During the educational hour, students learned about the concept of "bullying", its consequences, as well as its types – psychological, physical, social and cyberbullying. Students are made aware of why it is important to respond in a timely manner, what are the main signs of bullying and the rules of responsibility for such behavior. Let's stop bullying together!
