Anniversary of the Holodomor

Anniversary of the Holodomor

On November 26, 2019, an educational event honoring the memory of the indigenous population who died during the famines of 1921-1923, 1932-1933, 1946-1947 in Ukraine took place in the library of the VSP Agrotechnical College of UNUS.

The educational event was attended by college students 13 and 15, teachers Korzh YM, Demchenko-Yasynetska NS, Beneskul PL, Besarab MN and librarians Angarska LL and Zhulinska GG

Beneskul PL made an introductory speech, drawing the attention of young people to the price of bread, the price of life and the memory of the tragic events of the twentieth century.

The presentation about the Holodomor was opened by Korzh Yu.M. and Demchenko-Yasynetska NS

Bessarab MN provided information on the recognition of genocide as an extermination of people in the international arena in the twentieth century, as well as sources of research on the Holodomor by teachers and students of the college.

Angarska LL and Zhulinska GG gave a description of the exhibition "Sources of the Holodomor". The library has a large amount of information about these tragic events, available for review.

The starvation of peasants, as the most nationally conscious population of Ukraine, is the price of freedom.

Participants of the educational event observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the Holodomor.

The Holodomor did not allow a whole generation to be born. Russia wanted and wants to see Ukraine on its knees! Let's remember!
